Join Nicholas Platt, Jr ’87, a seasoned professional and entrepreneur in asset management, for an engaging career conversation for students interested in finance and entrepreneurship. During this session, he will break down what it takes to build a successful career in the field, from key skills, preparation and mindsets, to the academic choices that will build a strong foundation.

About Nicholas Platt
Nicholas is a co-founder and COO of Kudu Investment Management, LLC, a New York-based asset management holding company that has invested in 31 managers over its history. Kudu managers, who collectively manage over $125 billion, invest across the spectrum, from alternatives, to traditional, to wealth management.
Nicholas was previously a co-founder and managing partner of Kudu Advisors, LLC, an M&A advisor to the asset management industry. He held Series 79 & 63 designations.
Prior to that he was COO of Asset International, Inc., a publisher and information service provider to the retirement, asset management, alternative investments, and securities services industries.
Previously, Nicholas was a financial correspondent and editor at Reuters News Service.
At Vassar, he majored in political science and was the Editor-in-Chief of The Miscellany News.
